why Bohol makes me happy

I am still not over it.
The summer breeze. the clear white water of the sea. The Bohol i know.

Much to my joy is coming from Kylene's reaction to the weather. Unlike our first visit, she is better now. She didn't show any hesitation that she could withstand the heat. That she could enjoy the water and enjoy Bohol too.

so- here's the answer why my hometown makes me very happy.

1. Because I am more relaxed. Imagine someone doing all the other necessities for you. You would have to pay heaps in Australia to get someone to drive you to places or someone to look after your kid although I am still very hands on. Or someone doing the laundry neatly piled ready to be worn again. Just having that someone to make your life so comfy. Absolutely relaxing.

2. The places you wanna go is just in the island. First of all , both families are within the same town- how good is that. Pools, zoo, adventure, beach, rice fields, butterflies to name a few.

3. Fresh, inexpensive local food. You could never go wrong except if you get caught with touristy places and prices. I got bitten myself. Watch out!

4. And how lucky that God picked Bohol to be home of His amazing creation of beaches. I am so happy to in commune of His work of art!

5. and finally to be HOME. no other place can make me feel so at HOME like that. Australia atmosphere cannot surpass that feeling yet and have no plans to.

I cannot forget this beach feeling and that ice cold beer inside the bucket.

I know I do not need to say more. Just picture this.

Kylene survives with her milk. I needed that beer.
And just approximately a kilometer from home is the Butterfly Garden albeit it's small size has actually entertained me.

ate Cheyenne tried on her wings!

and we actually did it! Yes, i prepared them to see where rice came from.  So, i brought these boots. I was expecting green rice fields but it was harvest time in April. So, here, the golden rice fields.
Kylene didn't show any itching at all & I am sooo thankful!
Huh..took me some time to finally put up something in my blog. I was too busy with the spontaneous lifestyle I am having at the moment. I am very fortunate & blessed. And, oh yeah, i have more stories to tell!

I am Grateful ( full stop)

i am on this stage where I didn't know what I was lacking until i was presented with the opportunity.

then i thought, i was underpaid for several years now.
then i started to be ungrateful.
then i started to linger on negativity
then i started to complain

little by little the poison was eating me & I missed the whole point.

what i am really trying to say is that the mind is very powerful. it goes to a lot of places and yes, thoughts could be poisonous. And i refuse my Blessings to get smeared, I wanted to fully enjoy it!

so here I am truly grateful.

thank you God, that you have seen my needs.
thank you God, that you hear out my thoughts.
thank you God, that you guide me always.

so, whilst we are not very poor- God knows I am concerned of our financial sustainability. But before I could even ask, He granted it!

we are not going to be rich. But we continue to live with the heart of Thanksgiving, always!

my favorite things ( currently)

I find these 2 are my daily dose of favorite things in the morning.

- reading book on my train rides. I relax
- walking before coming to work. Nice chatting with Cheyenne while making those legs work

And i go home; wanting so much of Kylene's giggles, moodswings and heaps more.

i love you my daughters.
& i love my favorite things to keep me sane.

And on weekends----running in the park for atleast 30 minutes is starting to form. How i wish, i wish, to sustain it. I also get to dip in the pool for Kylene's swimming lessons on Sundays! She doesn't act like a newbie at all. The teacher has no issues on her water confidence. My little brave, awesome, Kylene.

21 January

3 years ago, we set foot on this country with much excitement , bewilderment, fear and doubt.

That was 3 years ago. We made our own story.
We had struggles, moments  of agony and confusion.
and of JOY. I couldn't count the many ways we were blessed.
The good Lord favored us. This land was meant for us.

The rest are stories yet to be told.

Thank you God for guiding us in making the decision to move & sailing through each day you have gifted us. Grateful.

in 2015, we will continue to live in God's favor & find inspiration in Pope Francis' words.

“Allow yourselves to be surprised by God. Don’t be afraid of surprises. They shake the ground beneath our feet and make us insecure, but they move us forward in the right direction.” — Pope Francis, UST Jan 18, 2015.

the second part.... year ender 2014

fruit picking with my family!
These fruits are best eaten FRESH. No washing necessary! yay...

my folks are having a great time & enjoying Sydney in autumn and who doesn't love autumn?. The surrounds speak of JOY and GLADNESS! of COLOURS and Sunshines!

in March- i went back to work to join the work force again. It was seamless. Thank you Lord for the support I got from my parents. Heaps of wonderful things came through in 2014.

in August- we all went back to Philippines for Kylene's birthday. I do brave, unplanned moves sometimes. I actually become unpredictable and pretty liked it.

a month after, we were back to Sydney and headed off to Canberra & those beautiful images were made. Thanks to Cating, my sis and Kevin's artistic skills!

i love this photo of us.

in October- went off fruit picking  for peaches and nectarines! This time with my mom in law.

in December- we drove to Goldcoast. It's almost 30 hours in the road back and forth. That I thought was a bold move  especially with a baby and senior citizen in the car. Thankfully, we have a very reliable car & of course, a good driver.

Thank you Lord for your travelling mercies throughout this year.
We have more adventures in 2015 ,pls keep us in your loving arms always!

I can't wait to see the surprises you have for me in 2015 papa Lord. You are the best!

The year of LAKWATSA with a Baby

Thought I couldn't be that adventurous. But we were. We travelled to Philippines and back, & made lots of discoveries within Sydney.Where the heck did they get all those ENERGY.

It 's packing, moving, long drives and experiencing the daily demands of the day. This time, we moved at our own pace. Slowly, I noticed cloudless skies, rocks in unique forms, the wild flowers and tasted the sweet fruits picked from its branches. Tried tastiest wines , cheese at its strongest flavor and chocolates that I have never tasted before. I witnessed the beautiful sunsets, smiled at every bird flying in the sky. I am in awe of what we found. That what we actually have right now, is the most amazing thing that could ever happen to us!

I will work back and start at our Christmas last year. All members of my family were in Sydney! Those happy days! Look at me, my mouth couldn't accommodate my smile!

See, how immaculately happy. No words could ever describe that. So, we jump and we jump again and keeps on jumping for JOY!

The sisterhood was complete!

Our first Long Drive to Goulbourn .
Going at 4, back at 10 with a little baby.

and then we get addicted to this kind of driving.
So, we went back heading  --- Canberra.  I can see that cloudless sky!
It is beautiful!

Parliament House

Mt. Ainslie Lookout
God, how magnificent are you!

I like Canberra.
But the cold , it bites me.

And there's Hunter Valley.
The vineyards even on winter were very pretty! I dream of really stepping in the middle of the huge farms. Maybe one day, when they ain't hibernating.

vineyards, gardens, wine, beer , kangaroos in the morning and  yes chocolates!

Let me pause here. That was the  mid-year review.
I am so astounded of the beautiful Sydney.
I am but a fan, hoping that my future generation will get to see this beauty and feel what I am feelilng right now. Peaceful. Satisfied of God's gifts of creation.

( to be continued)

Bianca.

It is Bianca.
There are so many reason why I really like this woman.

A simple interview such as the link is wonderful. Nothing over the top. Just the real story.  Sadly, I seldom see this nowadays.

Hey first week of 2024!

( Jan 8) I am on my best mood today- best state mentally and I am happy and fulfilled of how my day is going. How about you? I am feeling ha...
